Terms of Service

1. The service

ThetaTickr provides market data from third-party sources, options research tools, and educational content. Subscribers can link a brokerage in read-only mode through SnapTrade. ThetaTickr does not place trades or execute orders.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and for activity on your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Premium features require an active subscription, managed by Clerk Billing and processed through Stripe. Subscriptions are charged monthly in advance and renew automatically at the published price. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges until you cancel. If we change the price, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel before your next renewal.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time: open your profile settings, choose "Manage account & billing", and cancel your subscription from the Billing tab. You will keep access until the end of the billing period you have paid for and will not be charged again. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account; deletion is covered in our Privacy Policy.

5. No refunds

ThetaTickr is a digital service, paid for one month at a time, and access starts as soon as you subscribe. Subscription fees are non-refundable. This includes partial billing periods, unused time, and cancellations made during a billing period.

If we charge you in error, such as a duplicate charge, we will correct the mistake.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days. By subscribing, you ask us to start the service immediately and acknowledge that this may reduce or end that right, to the extent the law allows.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, or paid feature gates.
• Do not scrape the site or access it by automated means, other than through features we provide for that purpose.
• Do not resell, share, or redistribute market data, SnapTrade-sourced data, or ThetaTickr analytics.
• Do not share your account or use the service unlawfully.

7. Not investment advice

All analytics, scanner output, rankings, preferred-contract selections, trade-tracker calculations, and academy content are general information and research tools. They are not personal investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and they do not account for your financial situation. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

Options trading involves substantial risk, including the possible loss of more than your initial investment. Past performance, projections, and modeled results do not guarantee future results.

8. Data and third-party services

Market data, filings, and news come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or replaced by modeled values. Verify important information with your broker before you act on it.

ThetaTickr relies on third parties including Clerk (authentication and subscription management), Stripe (payment processing), SnapTrade (broker connectivity), Alpaca and Massive (market data), and Vercel (hosting). Their terms also apply when you use those parts of the product, and we are not responsible for their services.

9. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the site, software, analytics, and content. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while you comply with these terms. You keep ownership of the data you enter.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, including any warranty of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Features may change as the product evolves.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThetaTickr is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, data inaccuracies, service interruptions, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or present security risks. You can request account deletion from your profile settings.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be announced on the site or, where appropriate, by email, before they take effect. If you continue using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel your subscription before they take effect.
