Options-income research

Find the best covered-call and cash-secured-put income on the stocks you already own.

ThetaTickr scans the options chain for the highest-quality premium on your holdings, ranks the most optionable tickers by liquidity and yield, and tracks every trade — research only, never advice or execution.

  • 200+ liquidity-ranked optionable tickers
  • Earnings-overlap warnings before you write
  • Read-only broker sync via SnapTrade

Research tool only. ThetaTickr does not recommend trades, provide personalized investment advice, or decide whether a security or option contract is suitable for you.

What is ThetaTickr?

ThetaTickr is a stock-portfolio and options-income research tool. Review candidate tickers and scan the options heatmap for the most attractive contracts for each strategy. The Portfolio and shortlist section shows income and liquidity scores for your selected stocks and surfaces the current most valuable covered call or cash-secured put for a given stock and DTE window. The Optionable tickers list ranks stocks by recent option liquidity and option-income yields, and the Academy explains the covered-call and cash-secured-put strategies in depth.

How it works

Turn shares you already hold and cash you've set aside into options income — with the research to choose the contract, and the tools to manage it once it's written.

  1. 01

Start with your shares and cash

Add the stocks you own, or sync them read-only through SnapTrade, and set the cash you're willing to put to work. Need ideas for puts? Optionable tickers ranks 200+ names by option liquidity and income yield.

  2. 02

    See the best-paying contract

Every holding gets an income score and a preferred covered call or cash-secured put. The options heatmap lays out yield, premium and premium per day for every strike and expiry, and the GEX strike profile marks the call wall, put wall and gamma flip against the price.

  3. 03

Check the risk before you write

The GEX matrix shows which expiries hold the positioning behind each wall. Earnings weeks and thin liquidity are flagged on the contract, and the trade planner sizes it against your shares and cash.

  4. 04

    Track it to the close

Send the contract to the trade tracker for live P/L and to see which calls are covered and which are naked. When a position needs managing, the roll assistant ranks candidates by net credit.

Inside the scanner

Every strike and expiry on one board.

The options heatmap shows the premium yield, the dollar premium and the premium per day for each contract, so the best-paying strikes stand out at a glance. The preferred contract is marked in orange.

Yield, premium and pace. Each cell carries three figures, so a fat premium far out in time doesn't hide a poor daily rate.

Earnings in view. Expiries that overlap an earnings week are flagged before you write.

Liquidity warnings. Thin open interest, volume or wide spreads are marked on the cell.

Outliers ringed. The largest cells are marked, scaled across the table or within each expiry.

GEX is a positioning proxy built from the loaded option chain, not observed dealer inventory.
